Treating Without Pain: Introduction
This course is taught by Timo Potveer and is structured around the “Treating Without Pain” concept developed by Alison Taylor. In this course, you will become familiar with the fundamental principles of this approach and learn how to apply them in the treatment of various conditions. Topics covered include the concept of Treating Without Pain, its underlying philosophy, and general assessment techniques, which will be both discussed and practiced.
This course provides an accessible introduction to the “Treating Without Pain” method, enabling participants to easily understand and apply the basics in their own practice. Throughout the course, significant attention is given to learning how to apply the different techniques using common practical examples, while also gaining insight into how to treat patients without pain.

- The ability to communicate the vision and core principles of the “Treating Without Pain” concept.
- Understanding the theoretical background of pain-free treatment.
- The ability to apply general soft tissue techniques to improve functionality and reduce pain.

8:00 – 8:30 Registration
8:30 – 9:15 Introduction to the Treating Without Pain concept and philosophy
9:15 – 10:15 Discussion and practice of general assessment and soft tissue techniques
10:15 – 10:30 Break
10:30 – 12:00 Lab session – combining the learned techniques in common clinical cases
12:00 – 12:30 Closing and discussion
